Airport

• Nice Côte d’Azur and Lyon are the first airports certified for ‘customer quality’. This certification ensures that all the actions set up deliver the best possible service to customers.

• The arrival of the A380 to Nice for technical testing was a major event. The Airport is one of the few in France to be able to accommodate this new-generation jumbo aircraft.

Destinations

- Netjets business aviation reinforces its position in Nice. One third of flights with this airline specialized in business aviation in France are based at the Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport, with growth on the order of 17% in 2007, and reinforcement of 39 aircraft and 200 crew members; this growth should continue in future years.

- Nice-London-City by Air France-KLM with daily flights on 95-seat luxury aircraft starting at €38; Air France-KLM, after having somewhat abandoned direct flights to European cities from Nice, is back in force with two flights from Nice to London-City and Geneva.

- Nice-Geneva on Air France via CityJet; Baboo has now scheduled three daily flights with the great novelty being the 7:00am flight from Nice to Geneva, which provides access to many connections towards eastern Europe in 30 minutes.

- Nice-Venice on Baboo: 6 weekly flights - except Saturday - with 100 seats available.

- Nice-Dubai on Emirates will increase its flights, offering five direct flights - Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday - on A330-200 with over 200 seats to the destination. The fact of having a direct flight will also favour connections to South Africa, Australia and Asia in general where Emirates has a strong presence.

- Nice-Lisbon, opening of this line by TAP Portugal, with two daily flights and another, 4 days a week.

- Nice-New York JFK with helicopter shuttle to two heliports in the heart of Manhattan: East 34th street and Downtown Manhattan.
