Old Nice
The old city is the most picturesque and one of the busiest areas of Nice. In an environment of exceptional baroque architecture, you will discover colours and light of Cours Saleya with its famous Flower Market, the place Rossetti with its Italian atmosphere, the place du Palais ... but also the narrow streets, the " trompe-l’œil " façades and the terraces in the shade of parasols, the numerous churches and the steps which lead up to the magnificent park of the castle hill.
The best way to discover all these treasures is on foot in order to fully appreciate the unique atmosphere which reigns in this neighbourhood. You should allow approximately two hours not including the visit of the churches and the Palais Lascaris. For a shorter visit, you can also choose to take the tourist train which offers a guided tour of 45 minutes.

Continue on Rue Droite (église du Gesù) before reaching on your left, place Rossetti (cathédrale Sainte-Réparate). Return to rue Droite (palais Lascaris) towards place Saint-François (fish market).
